There are two reasons for uploading end of key stage data and/or exam results:

  • If you are one of our trial schools and we have specifically asked you to upload data.
  • To help us improve our models and predictions.

Uploading data is not a requirement for using MERIT. However, if you have been asked to do this, it will improve the amount of information you can get out of the system and improve our models for all users.

We have tried to make this process as simple as possible.

Step 1 – Download the Spreadsheet Template

Go to manage.testbasecamp.org and sign in as a data manager/admin account.

Select Upload end of key stage data

You can download a correctly formatted, empty spreadsheet by selecting the appropriate category.

There are currently 3 categories to select from:

Template

Step 2 – Completing the Spreadsheet

Open the spreadsheet and input the relevant data, either by hand or from your school information management system.

See the tables below for details of the required data needed. Each of these tables shows the field names required in row 1 and the requirement of that field in row 2.

Save your file when complete.

Step 3 - Uploading your data

Return to manage.testbasecamp.org and select Upload end of key stage data

Use the Select and upload your file button to upload your file (this should only take a few moments)

You will be presented with a message confirming the import went OK or the system will identify any warnings or errors encountered.

If you need to upload further data then you must ensure that all data you have previously uploaded is contained within the same file. For example, if you upload 10 students data, and then need to upload another 10, you must ensure that all 20 are present in the new file.

That's it!
